The site is located in the Park on Hill 314 (Côte 314) located east of the town or Mortain-Bocage. Mortain-Bocage is located in the Manche department in Normandy in north-western France. The hilltop site is immediately adjacent to the church the Petite Chapelle Saint Michel, and offers a panoramic view across to the doors of the Maine and Brittany region. Mont Saint-Michel can be seen on clear days.
