Born 5 September 1923 Part of MACR #745 Left Wing Gunner for the B-17 42-30646 when it was shot down on 4 October 1943. Suffered bad phosphorus burns and had his arm amputated in the Gerolstein Hospital by Dr. Luy. Died of jaundice caused by phosphorus poisoning and was buried in the town cemetery. Remains could no longer be found after the war.
