Born 1 August 1923 Son of Joseph Jackson and Rachel Earp. Brother Darrell also served in WWII. Lived in Madison County in 1940, and moved to Lacrosse, Wisconsin between 1940 and 1943. Married to Mary Elizabeth Fried from Dallas, Iowa, who married Darrell after Otis' death. Enlisted from La Crosse, Wisconsin in March 1943. Death was due to a bone fracture in his arm, tibia, and leg, and shell wounds in action. Temporarily buried in St. Juan, France before being moved to Epinal American Cemetery. He also has a cenotaph located in Mabel Cemetery, Mabel, Fillmore County, Minnesota.
