When Jesse E. Rogers was born on August 25, 1920, his father, George, was 34 and his mother, Minnie, was 36. He had four brothers and three sisters. He enlisted in the Army on June 13, 1944. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on April 17, 1945 and is now buried in Brookside Cemetery, Windfall, Tipton County, Indiana, USA.
