When Phillip Louis "Phi" Naviaux was born on February 2, 1914, in Dawson, Nebraska, his father, Albert, was 27 and his mother, Martha, was 25. He married Evelyn Louise Fraley in July 1943. They had one child during their marriage. He graduated from Lexington High School with the class of '32. He enlisted in the Army on December 11, 1940. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a First Lieutenant in the 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on February 26, 1945 and is now buried in Saint Ann's Cemetery, Lexington, Dawson County, Nebraska, USA.
