Bruce Beveridge Jr. was born on September 22, 1928, in Selma, Dallas County, Alabama. He was the son of John Bruce Beveridge and Rose Waller Beveridge. He was married to Velma Black Fleming. He served in the 57th Field Artillery Battalion, 7th Infantry Division, as a Second Lieutenant during the Korean War.
2Lt Beveridge was Killed in Action on September 8, 1951, in North Korea. He was buried in the Bay Minette Cemetery, Bay Minette, Baldwin County, Alabama, USA.
