Lloyd Graham Anderson Jr. was born on August 15, 1930, in Jefferson County, Alabama. He served in Company H, 2nd Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, as a Private First Class during the Korean War.
PFC Anderson was seriously injured in North Korea on April 21, 1951, and returned to duty on April 24, 1951. He was killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on May 19, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
