Alonzo Allen was born on January 6, 1915, in Jefferson County, Alabama. He was the son of Littleton Allen and Lucille Allen. He served in Company G, 2nd Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, as a Corporal and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.
Cpl Allen was Killed in Action on August 24, 1950, during the Battle of Pusan in South Korea. He is now buried in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery, Praco, Jefferson County, Alabama, USA.
