When Eldene B. Bosworth was born on December 5, 1919, in Pennsylvania, his father, Fred, was 51 and his mother, Ina, was 39. He had two brothers and six sisters. He graduated from the Port Allegany High School in 1940. He was employed by the Pittsburgh Corning Corporation until his entrance in service of the Army Oct. 7, 1942. He was killed in action in Germany on April 14, 1945. He is now buried in Eulalia Cemetery, Coudersport, Potter County, Pennsylvania, USA.
