When Wilfred W. Williams was born on February 23, 1922, his father, Iver, was 32 and his mother, Eva, was 28. He married Elenor Bertha Meyers on July 5, 1941, in Defiance, Ohio. They had two children during their marriage. He enlisted in the Army on August 1944. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on April 25, 1945 and is now buried in Mount Prospect Cemetery, Franklinville, Cattaraugus County, New York, USA.
