Bert Lewis Nicoletto was born on November 11, 1920, at Joffre and attended the New Stanton High School. Before entering the service he was employed in the tranfer department of the Pennsylvania Railroad at Pitcairn. Pfc. Nicoletto was inducted into the Army in 1944 and received his basic training at Camp Blanding, Fla., after which he served with Company G, 26th Infantry. He died on March 3, 1945 and is now buried in Madison Union Cemetery, Madison, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, USA.
