When Everett W. Kimzey was born in 1913, his father, John, was 21 and his mother, Ruth, was 21. He married Gelda I Archer on September 1, 1934, in South Dakota. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on March 24, 1945 and is now buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
