Donald Robert Greene was born on January 26, 1923. Greene entered service Jan. 27, 1943, at Fort Niagara. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in 1st Infantry Division. He trained at Indio, Calif., and Camp Pickett, Va., before going to England in November 1943. He was Killed in Action on March 30, 1945 and is now buried in Winthrop Cemetery, Winthrop, St. Lawrence County, New York, USA.
