Samuel Nicholas Milovich was born on February 22, 1890, in Montenegro. He entered military service in Pennsylvania and served in the 2nd Mobile Mechanized Regiment as a Sergeant during World War I. Sgt Milovich was killed in an airplane accident in France on December 20, 1918, and is now buried in the St. Mihiel American Cemetery, Thiaucourt, France. He was one of the 171 American servicemen who trained at the Third Aviation Instruction Center in France and died between 1917-1919.
