Ernest E. Marsh was born on December 2, 1897. He was the son of John G. Marsh and Elizabeth S. Stecher Marsh.
Ernest served in the 35th Aero Squadron as a Private during World War I. He died of disease in France on December 22, 1917, and is now buried in the Stroudsburg Cemetery, Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, USA. Pvt Marsh was one of the 171 American servicemen who trained at the Third Aviation Instruction Center in France and died between 1917-1919.
