Lonnie C. Hall was born on June 21, 1894. He was the son of Isaac Hall and Martha M. Floyd Hall.

Lonnie served in Company K, 153rd Infantry Regiment, as a Private during World War I. He died of disease in Issoudun, France, on September 9, 1918, and is now buried in the Floyd-Meadows-Hall Cemetery, Greenup County, Kentucky, USA. Pvt Hall was one of the 171 American servicemen who trained at the Third Aviation Instruction Center in France and died between 1917-1919.
