Everett W. Andrews was born on November 7, 1918, in Emmetsburg, Palo Alto County, Iowa. He was the son of Everett C. Andrews and Daisy Marie Campbell Andrews.

Everett W. served in the 561st Artillery Battalion as a First Lieutenant and Pilot on a Piper L-4H during World War II. He was Killed in Action when his plane crashed on August 10, 1944, during a reconnaissance mission. His plane was shot down by flak and crashed in Tréméreuc, France. 1Lt Andrews is now buried in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Helena, Phillips County, Arkansas, USA.
