Bernard C. Morrison was born on August 2, 1925, in Washington. He was the son of Bernard Vinten Morrison and Grace E Cuff Morrison.

Bernard C served in the 860th Bomber Squadron, 493rd Bomber Group, 860th Bomber Squadron, 493rd Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Sergeant and Tail Gunner on the B-17 #44-6513 during World War II. He was Killed in Action on April 9, 1945, when his airplane was hit by an enemy flak and crashed near Munich, Germany. All men aboard were killed as a result of the crash.

Sgt Morrison was declared Missing in Action. His name is memorialized on the Tablets of the Missing, Epinal American Cemetery, Dinozé, France.
