Glenn served in Company G, 325th Glider Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on June 7, 1944, in France. PFC Lego is now buried in the Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-Sur-Mer, France. He also has a cenotaph located in Lakewood Cemetery, Ohio.
