Grady Gaston Walton was born on April 27, 1924 in Scurry County, Texas. He was the son of Isaiah Walton and Aria Nancy Hamrick Walton. He died on May 19, 1944 at the age of 20 and is now buried in the Snyder Cemetery, Snyder, Scurry County, Texas, USA. 2Lt Walton was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
