Garrett E. Peterson was born on December 12, 1924. He served in the 1333rd Army Air Force Base Unit as a Second Lieutenant and Co-Pilot of an aircraft during World War II. He died on April 5, 1945 at the age of 20 and is now buried in the Oakwood Cemetery, Cuyahoga Falls, Summit County, Ohio, USA. 2Lt Peterson was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
