Lawrence Lustgarten was born on December 15, 1915. He served in the 491st Bomber Squadron, 341st Bomber Group, Medium as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. Lawrence was Killed In Action aboard B-25C Mitchell #41-30154 in a crash at Ratio Lake, India. He is now buried in the Long Island National Cemetery, East Farmingdale, Suffolk County, New York, USA in a common grave with his crew. The air crew were:
