Harold W. Linihan was born on June 6, 1922. He served in the 374th Bomb Squadron, 308th Bomb Group as a Flight Officer and Pilot of the B-24J #42-73329 aircraft. He died on December 24, 1943 at the age of 21 and is now buried in the Calvary Cemetery, Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
