Kenneth L. Johnson was born on June 10, 1923. He was the son of Edwin Kendall Johnson and Alice Jane Thompson Johnson. Kenneth served in the US Air Corps as a Second Lieutenant and Co-Pilot of an aircraft during World War II. He died on November 15, 1944 at the age of 21 and is now buried in the Highland Cemetery, Great Falls, Cascade County, Montana, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
