Terry L. Humphries was born on October 11, 1920. He served in the 308th Bombardment Group as a Technical Sergeant and an Engineer of an aircraft during World War II. Terry died on December 24, 1943 at the age of 23 and is now buried in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
