Walter W. Hillier was born on May 3, 1916. He served in the 374th Bomber Squadron, 308th Bomber Group, Heavy as a Second Lieutenant. He died on October 26, 1944 at the age of 28 and is now buried in the Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois, USA.
