Raymond Chester Fry, Jr. was born on September 9, 1918. He served in the US Air Corps as a Second Lieutenant and Co-Pilot of an aircraft during World War II. Raymond died on January 7, 1945 at the age of 26 and is now buried in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, USA. He also has a cenotaph located in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, Miami County, Ohio. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
