Clarence H. Alkire served in the Air Corps as a Second Lieutenant and a Co-pilot of an aircraft during World War II. He died on November 1, 1943 but his current burial place is unknown. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
