Kenneth R. Henderson was born on May 4, 1914 in Buchanan County, Missouri. He attended Willowbrook Grade School and was a graduate of Faucett High School. He received basic training at Camp Robinson, Ark., and was sent overseas in the spring of 1944 from Fort Meade, Md. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on September 3, 1944 in Belgium at the age of 30 and is now buried in Agency Cemetery, Agency, Buchanan County, Missouri, USA.
