Leslie James Noller was born on September 27, 1927 in Illinois. He was the son of Ralph Leslie Noller and Alice L. Keeler Noller. Leslie enlisted in the Army on April 3, 1943 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in Company H, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on October 8, 1944 in Germany at the age of 20 and is now buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Centralia, Marion County, Illinois, USA.
