Raymond V. Ratti was born in 1924. Sgt Raymond V. Ratti fought in the famous E Company of the 16th Infantry Regiment, which landed in the first wave of assault troops on Omaha Beach. He was killed in the Battle of Huertgen Forest, Germany on 25 November 1944. He is now buried in Saint Raymond's Cemetery New, Bronx, Bronx County, New York, USA.
