Harold Patrick McManimen was born on August 29, 1920 in Chicago Heights, Cook County, Illinois. He was the son of Charles Albert McManimen and Elizabeth Mary Tebodo McManimen. Harold served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 745th Tank Battalion. He died on November 25, 1944 during the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium, at the age of 24 and is now buried in Homewood Memorial Gardens, Homewood, Cook County, Illinois, USA.
