Born in Honesdale, PA on 2 July 1895. Graduated Lafayette University 1915. Went to France to join the Ambulance Corps, then joined the French air service on 16 October 1916. Transfered to the US Air Service on 18 Feb 1918. An ace who earned 6 victories. Transferred to Dorr Field, Daytona Beach, Florida on 8 October 1918 as an instructor. Killed in an aviation accident 16 March 1919.
