Noel L. Cline was born in Arkansas. He entered the service on Nov 21, 1942 and was shipped overseas on March 13, 1944 and went out with the invasion troops on D-Day in France. Noel served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on September 13, 1944 in Belgium and is now buried in Garden Point Cemetery, Etowah, Mississippi County, Arkansas, USA. He also has a cenotaph located in Potter Memorial Cemetery, Lepanto, Poinsett County, Arkansas, USA.
