Elmer Warman, Jr. was born on September 18, 1922 in Pennsylvania. He was a son of Elmer Warman and Esther (Carver) Warman. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on December 15, 1942 at Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Elmer served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in the 1st Infantry Division.He was Killed in Action on June 6, 1944 during the invasion on Omaha Beach, France at the age of 21 and is now buried in Gettysburg National Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania, USA.
