Irving Skow was born on June 18, 1916. He enlisted in the Army on January 10, 1941 and left the US for foreign services on July 1, 1942. He participated in the Algeria, French, Morocco, Tunisian, Sicilian and Normandy Campaigns Irving served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on June 8, 1944 in France at the age of 27 and is now buried in Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA.
