Henry Ray W. Tracy was born on January 30, 1911 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He was the son of James T. Tracy and Mary A. Mcrae. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Sergeant in Company F, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on June 6, 1944 during the invasion on Omaha Beach, France at the age of 33 and is now buried in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA.
