Clint Alvoid Wesson, aged 27, was born on September 11, 1916 in Gaffney, Cherokee County, South Carolina. He was the son of Bussie William Wesson and Vassie McClurd Wesson. Clint served in the 363rd Infantry Regiment, 91st Infantry Division as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 5, 1944 during the battle in the area of Ponzalla, Italy and is now buried in the Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery, Bessemer City, Gaston County, North Carolina, USA.
