Lynn Evert Tyson, aged 31, was born on October 7, 1913 in Milburn, Custer County, Nebraska. He was the son of Thomas Aaron Tyson and Grace Gertrude Gladson Tyson Sells. He joined the Army on November 18, 1942 in Butte, MT. Lynn served in the 363rd Infantry Regiment, 91st Infantry Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on April 17, 1945 and is now buried in the Florence American Cemetery, Impruneta, Italy. He also has a cenotaph located in Broken Bow Cemetery, Broken Bow, Custer County, Nebraska, USA.
