Lucius L. Turner, aged 35, was born on July 26, 1909 in Tulare County, California. He was the son of Lucius Hervey Turner and Grace Linnell Turner. Lucius, Jr. served in the 363rd Infantry Regiment, 91st Infantry Division as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. He died on September 16, 1944 during the battle in the area of Ponzalla, Italy and is now buried in the Florence American Cemetery, Impruneta, Italy.
