Clyde E. Pillow, aged 23, was born on November 29, 1920 in Henderson County, Tennessee. He was the son of Ezra E. Pillow and Rosa Irene Woodard Pillow. Clyde served in the 363rd Infantry, 91st Infantry Division as a Private during World War II. He died on October 18, 1944 during the battle in the area of Ponzalla, Italy and is now buried in the Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery, Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee, USA.
