William Paul "Bill" Pereau, aged 19, was born on June 28, 1925 in Saint Louis, St. Louis City, Missouri. He was the son of Paul Richard Pereau and Amy Myrtle Jones Pereau. William served in the 363rd Infantry, 91st Infantry Division as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on October 19, 1944 near Bologna, Italy and is now buried in the Florence American Cemetery, Impruneta, Italy.
