Clifton B. Olmstead, aged 29, was born on June 21, 1915. He was the son of Caley Blain Olmstead and Bessie Arvilla Coon Olmstead. He served in the 363rd Infantry, 91st Infantry Division as a Technician Fourth Grade during World War II. Clifton was Killed in Action on October 9, 1944 in Castle Ferento, Italy and is now buried in the Sunset Gardens Cemetery, Marshall, Saline County, Missouri, USA.
