Marvin Delbert Gabhart, aged 19, was born on October 22, 1924 in Jacksonville, Morgan County, Illinois. He was the son of Thomas Edgar Gabhart and Clara Belle McBurney. Marvin served in the 363rd Infantry, 91st Infantry Division as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on October 12, 1944 during the battle in the area of Ponzalla in Italy and is now buried in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Jacksonville, Morgan County, Illinois, USA.
