William Franciskovich, aged 35, was born on August 24, 1909 in Canton, Fulton County, Illinois. He was the son of V. Paul Franciskovich and Mary G. Franciskovich. William entered the military service in Oregon and served in the 363rd Infantry, 91st Infantry Division as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. He died on September 15, 1944 and is now buried in the Florence American Cemetery, Impruneta, Italy.
