Howard E. Duncan, aged 19, was born on April 25, 1925 in New Kensington, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of David Clinton Duncan and Rachael Tyson Duncan. Howard served in the 363rd Infantry, 91st Infantry Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 17, 1944 in the battle around the area of Ponzalla in Italy and is now buried in the Florence American Cemetery, Impruneta, Italy.
