Monument


A large semi-circular wall mounted with plexiglass plaques containing the names of those who lost their lives in the area fighting with the Free French of the Interior (FFI).

 Included on the plaques are the names of the 221 American soldiers killed in the area between 20 and 30 August 1944.  In the middle of the hemisphere is a large concrete sculpture representing the Drome Department.  The memorial was inaugurated on 3 September 1995.
