On the bottom of the town's war memorial in the middle of the town square.

Plaque
A black plaque with gold lettering at the base of a statue depicting a French soldier. The former commemorates US aviators who crashed in the area during WWII. The crew flew on B-17 (42-31367) "Chow Hound" of the 322nd Bomber Squadron, 91st Bomber Group; they were shot down nearby by AA in August 1944.
