The plaque is on the outside front of the house next to a window and above a bush.  Plaque The plaque commemorates the Americans who were taken prisoner and interrogated at this house by the Germans in World War II. It especailly remembers Lieutenant Walter "Chris" Heisler as a notable American prisoner.

Le lieutenant americain Walter "Chris" Heisler du 507eme P.I.R. etait l'un d'entre eux.

English translation:
Requisitioned by the occupying Germans, this house was used in order to hold and interrogate prisoners in June 1944. 
 American Lieutenant Walter "Chris" Heisler of the 507th PIR was one of them.
