Details:

Located on the west side of the D900E1 just north of the intersection of the D900E1 and Rue du Champ de Foire. Monument The obelisk commemorates the 79th Infantry Division's role in World War II in the cause of freedom. The veterans of the 79th ID constructed the obelisk and two flag poles to remember the divisions role in the war in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes-Alsace, Rhineland, and Central Europe.
